CROQUET.
A meeting of ladies was held yostcrday at tl|o Fitzrny Bowling ' Club's pavilion to consider whether the fitzroy Croquet Club should be again carried on. The ladies present were very enthusiastic as regards play being arranged for, especially as the croquet ground is now jin such excellent order. The deciding factor is the membership roll, and the jladies undertook to get as many as possible to join, Mrs. T. G. Sole offering to receive the names of new members before Thursday next, when a decision will be arrived at. The,fee was fixed at one guinea, and any' lady wishing to join should communicate with Mrs. Sole as soon as possible.
