INCREASED SOLDIERS' PENSIONS. By Telegraph.—Pros? Association. Wellington, Sept. 11 Regarding amendments to the system of pensions and allowances, the general secretary of the Returned Soldiers' Association states that the association intends to insist, vigorously upon any increase being made retrospective to the outbreak of the war. ,Tu the opinion of the association, justice demands that amendments to the existing scheme should not apply merely to those who are leaving' 1 New 'Zealand in the future, hut to all members of the First Division upon whom has /alien the heat and burden of the three years of war. '
