TADMARUMJ'I VALUATIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Taumarunui, Last Night. The Assessment Court sat to-day to hear about 150 objections to the borough valuations, Mr. Eawson,: S.M., being chairman. Mr. Coutts, valuer, deposed that he had mado valuations on the basis of rents and sales of property. The Grosvenor property (owner, W. Thomaa) was taken a3 a typical case, the capital value of which was raised from £3OOO odd to £6432. The owner objeciod to the amount of unimproved value.
