SUBSCRIPTIONS STILL COMLVCS if.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, La?l) Night. The Minister of Finance stated to-day that subscriptions for the War Loan were still reaching him. A Dunedin firm had telegraphed asking if he would accept a subscription of £20,000, and many smaller amounts were being offered and accepted. The loan had not yet been finally closed, and it would bo kept open until the Finance Bill giving airthority to companies, societies, trustees/ and others to contribute had been made law.
