WAR ELECTION BILL, Ottawa, Sept. 7. Mr. Meighsn introduced the War Time Elections Act, which provides for the disfranchisement of aliens of enemy origin naturalised since 1902, and for the enfranchisement of the wives, mothers, listers and daughters of soldiers. The Bill was criticised because of th* illogical distinction between women wltn relatives in the army and other women equally patriotic.
