MEETING OF REFORM PARTY.
VOTE OF CONFIDENCE IN PREMIER, APPRECIATION OF SIR J AS. ALLEN'S WORK. ( By Telegraph.— Press Association. \ Wellington, Last Night. At a full meeting ot the Reform Party, \ held this morning, the following resotu- * ( tion, proposed by Mr. Scott and seconded by Mr. Parr, was carried by acclama- ' tion: "That this meeting congratulates the Right Hon. W. F. Massey on the ] valuable services rendered by him to the * Empire during his recent visit to Britain, and on his safe return to New Zealand, I and further desires to assure him of its ' loyalty and complete confidence in him as Prime Minister and leader of the ; party." < The Prime Minister thanked the members for their cordial and enthusiastic welcome, and assured them he accepted i it as a complete recompense for the arduous duties he had been lately called on to perform in the interests of the Empire and this Dominion. A very useful and interesting discus- , sion followed on the legislation of the session. Before the meeting closed, a most cordial vote of appreciation of the valuable work by Sir James Allen, while acting as Prime Minister, was enthusiastically carried. =
