THE ARTILLERY STRUGGLE. AIR REPRISALS. London, Sept. 5. The French communique states:—After a lively bombardment the Germans attacked Casemates Plateau. Our fire cheeked then!. Despite vigorous attacks wo secured a record number of photographs, whereof many were taken at great distances behind the lines. Enemy aeroplanes are disinclined to fight, except well east of the line. We brought down thirteen. Seven of ours are missing. RAIDERS DRIVEN OFF.
