The Times' correspondent at Jassy, ia his report of the great fortnight's bat tie in Moldavia, says it was ope of the most sanguinary of the war. The Roumanian first and second armies fought magnificently, resisting sometimes fourteen counter-attacks daily, tho Germans constantly throwing in fresh troops, whereas the Roumanians were not changed during the fortnight's infernal lighting. Tho whole army and peoplo are inspired by frenzied hate of the Germans, whose present offensive aims at occupying the whole of ltoumania and disposing of it like they havo Poland.
