Individual applications for large sums still continue to como in, the amounts ranging from .G4OOO to £50,000. TJie amounts applied for by companies and associations range 'from £f>(HJO to .£20,000. The Ancient Order of i'Vesters, Wellington, has decided to invest £SOO, iiiul several societies in reply to the Minister's circular have promised to place all their uninvested hinds in war loan securities. Application forms for conversion of htlO war bonds will ;be available at various branches of the ißank of Xow Zealand as soon as possible after .'ird September, and arrangements are being made with tho bank to accept bonds for transmission to the Treasury. There need be no immediate hurry in applying for these conversions, as bond-holders desirous of converting will be allowed interest on stoek inscribed from the date of the last interest coupon dealt wdt'i pn tho .bond. As the Treasury will be very busy with applications for the loa.n, those who wish to convert their 'bonds into inscribed stock are requested to hold their applications over for, say. two weeks after the closing of tho loaii.
