There need be no immediate hurry in applying for these conversions, as bond-holders desirous of converting will be allowed interest on stoek inscribed from the date of the last interest coupon dealt wdt'i pn tho .bond. As the Treasury will be very busy with applications for the loa.n, those who wish to convert their 'bonds into inscribed stock are requested to hold their applications over for, say. two weeks after the closing of tho loaii.
