On Thursday nexi the North Taranaki Hunt are to wind up tiie season with a point-to-point steeplechase, one for hi'stclass hunters, and one for second-class. The ground selected is second to mine for the occasion, having a vantage point for spectators, as well as providing the necessary fences for a cross-country event. The property is owned be .Messrs ,1. Cole and .L Edwin, and is situated at the toll-gate 2 miles from Waitara. Given a fine day there will he a. splendid afternoon's sport.
