Allen, and T ,-mellie. f A letter w.: r , received from tlie New Zealand Dairy Association enclosing copy of a resolution to tlie ol'eet that all exhibits of choose and ImUer should ibe securely sealed, thy seals to remain intact until the exhibits are being arranged by tin; stewards for judging purposes—Referred to dairy section of executive committee. A vote of liianlTs was passed to Mr. \V. W. Smith for bis splendid report on the planting of the new grounds, and it was decided to expend ,U(i on flowering trees to lie planted preferably on the road frontage. A request from (be XI -Regiment to be allowed to store regimental pun carriage at the rear of the Coronation Hall was granted. In connection villi the last winter show the sum of Cfi war. voted to the Makctawa district, and it was decide! to send a, trophy in recognition of their winning the district swede competition. The Xew Zealand Council of Agriculture forwarded a cony of resolution passed at the annual conference, also notice 11ml. at the next cor.foronee the Man.iwatu Association w.mid n:ove thai the executive -hoiild have power to enforce all the resolutions of the conference 'J'be Minister of Agri-iilttire (Ifo:i.'"\Y. D. S. Mnedonaid) wrote aekno',\i<siring receipt, ol the resolution passed at the conference held in connection with the society's winter show, urging that the .State should undertake the business of marine in---.ir:<nce.
