EXEMPTION OF MEN.
K DAIRY INDUSTRY. A QUESTION IN THE HOUSE. -By Wire.—Our Parliamentary Reporter Wellington, Last Night. A question regarding the exemption of dairy faxmers, dairy factory hands, and other essential country workers, was put to Sir James Allen by Mr. C. A. Wilkinson, who asked if the Military Service Boards had been instructed to 'take 'notice of the classification of industries as made by the Efficiency Board. It appeared that some boards were dis< regarding the classification, under which dairy fanning was declared most essential, and men were being taken irom farms vithout regard to whether the farms could be worked without them. Sir James Allen replied that he had .supplied the boards with the classification and instructed tliem to act upon it as far as they could.
