JEAN SOTHERN IN A SPLENDID SOLE, "HER GOOD NAME.

There was an excellent attendance at this popular house last evening, when the favorite actress Jean Sothern appealed in a drama of great interest and power entitled "Her Good Name." Throughout the five reels of this photoplay of sunshine and heart throbs, Jean Sothern, who plays the leading part, gives one of tho most delightful and impressive chacterisations ever seen on the screen.' As the innocent little country girl in the early part of the picture she lias all the charm and freshness of an early spring morning. Later in the development of the story she is required to portray the part of a girl whose father has committed a murder to avenge tho wrong he thinks a man has done her. In a court room scene during which she falsely swears away her honor to savo her father's life. Miss Sothern rises to dramatic heights and displays histrionic ability of the highest order. The surprising turn of events that vindicate tho girl in the end is a most unexpected development and makes the picture one of the most interesting productions for sometime. The programme also includes a thoroughly entertaining drama "The Lottery Man " which - is certain to prove a most popular attraction.
