THE EMPIRE.
EXTHP3IASTIC KECEPTION OK "MY OLD DUTCH." The delightful film,"My Old Dutch" was warmly received by a full house at the Empire last evening. The story tells of the meeting of "Joe" and "Sal" jit 'Amstead, their courtship and marriage, their sorrow at the loss of their first-born, the coming of the "Little Nipper," his growth "and education. Unexpected riches fall to the lot of Joe and hiß "Old Dutch," but the boy fails them in their old age and almost breaks l his mother's heart. However he finally makes good, and though poor again, after being "together now for forty years," the big-hearted coster and his wife face the evening of life happily There are many incidents of tense drama, quaint humor, and delicate pathos interwoven in the telling of this "human" story. Mr. Ralph Parmer sang the song of "My Old Dutch" during tlie screening of the picture. To-night will be the final presentation of this beautiful picture.
