It appears the house has lately been occupied by two of Mr. Fabish's sons, and that after their midday meal on the day mentioned they left the house and went to work a little distauee away. Hverything appeared to 'be perfectly safe when they left, but at about 2 p.m. llieiv attention was drawn to the somestead by the heavy smoke that was visible from where they were at work. Although they made all possible lrnete to the scene of tho fire, nothing could be done. A.s most people will remember, there was a very high wind blowing nearly ail Tuesday, so that it would not be long before such a house as tho one referred to was reduced to ashes.
