THE EMPIRE.
CHARLIE CHAPLIK IN NEW MUTUAL "THE VAGABOND." "The million dollar comedian" is the latest name for Charlie Chaplin, his contract for the next year's work of eight pictures amounting to that enormous sum. To-night the popular little artist will lie featured at the Empire in his latest "Mutual" comedy "The Vagabond," said to be excruciatingly funny. On the same programme will be shown the powerful Fox feature "A Wife- Sacrifice," and the Fox comedy "The Bon Bon Riot." The usual matinee will be given to-morrow afternoon, when "The Vagabond" will be the chief attraction.
