TYPHUS RAVAGES IN GERMANY. Berne, Aug. 14. Hunger typhus is scourging many parts of Germany. There have been WW frascs and 54 deaths at Mannheim. The disease is severely afflicting Cologne, Karlsruhe, and Muihausen. The authorities diagnose it as dysentery, an.l are ordering burials to take place at night in order to quell panic.
