FINES INFLICTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Magistrate's Court D. L. Burns, a carrisr, for ill-treating a horse by allowing it to work while in an unfit state, was fined £lO. Percy Rogers, licensee of the Te Aro Hotel, en a charge of permitting drunkenness on licensed premises, was fined £5, which was increased to £5 is to allow of an appeal.
