August 9.—Huia s.s., 127 tons, Thorns, from Wellington and Wanganui. THE HUIA. The Huia arrived from Wellington and Wanganui early yesterday morning, with 75 tons of cargo. She was ready to sail on return in the afternoon, but it was decided to await a moderation in the weather, and it is probable that she will not take her "departure till early this morning, THE KARU. The Karu, previously duo to arrive to-morrow from Westport, has received quicker despatch than was expected, and will probably arrive this evening,

THE ALEXANDER, The A!e?cander arrives from Greymouth on Saturday morning, and will sail for the same port in the evening.
