WEDDING.
A quiet but pretty wedding took place in St. 'Paul's Presbyterian Church, Atniidale, South Ashburton, recently, when -Miss Flora A. V. M'Rae, of Inglewood, New Zealand, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony with Mr. Francis W. Sehaefer, of Hill .View, Armidalc. The Rev. H. S. Buntine officiated in the presence of the relatives and many friends of the contracting- parties. The bride was given away by her godmother, Mrs. Kllcn drills, of "Rock Abbey." The bride was attended by Miss K. Sehaefer and Miss Bertha Brazier as bridesmaids. The former's gift to the bridegroom was a gold ring and the latter's an amethyst and pearl necklet. The bridegroom also presented the bride with a fur coat,; while the latter received from the bi;ide a gold ring and medal. Mr. A. W. G. Sehaefer, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man and ?Sr. W. H. Harvey as groomsman. After the ceremony the bridal party adjourned to the City Cafe, where the wedding breakfast and a particularly magnificent wedding cake was provided in that establishment's jisual highly efficient style. The Rev, H. S. Buntine presided, and,, the customary toasts were all enthusiastically honored. Subsequently, amid the good wishes of many friends, the young couple left by motor for Tenterfield, where their future home will be situated.
