BOWLING.
The following is the method where j/ the l'aireri (Bowling Chib propose to overcome the two feet on the mat difficulty: That it be an instruction to the delegates to support a motion at the next meeting of delegates recommending that the two feet on the mat rule be rescinded, and that in its place a rule be made to the effect that when a player Is about to deliver his bowl he shall stand with two feet wholly on the mat, so that at the moment «f delivering the bowl he shall have one foot wholly on the mat. This appears to bo a solution of the whole trouble. Provision should be made, however, for a penalty for infringement of the rule.
