LAST NIGHT OF "FOX FEATURES" TO-NIGHT. "A Tortured Heart" starring Virginia Pearson, the southern beauty of filmland, supported by a strong cast of William Fox playc-s was screened for the first time at Everybody's last night. This film tells a powerful tale of tho evils of village gossip. Miss Pearson, the star, already known to picturegoers here, gives a, capital interpretation Of the part of Lucille Darrell, her acting being done with especial feeling. As the blackmailing vil'ain of the story is found Stuart Holmes, the most successful villain of filmland. He is the Leon Muller, who woes pretty little Marjorie Lorimore (Marian Swayne) a foundling adopted by a character of the story, the 5 Rev. Lorimore, taken by Stephen Grattan, and in another strong character is found the talented English actor of Shakespearean triumphs, Fuller Mellish. With such a strong cast of players it goes without saying that "The Tortured Heart" is one of the finest productions yet seen in New Plymouth. The final screening of this film takes plac." to-night, together with a splendid tworeel "Fox comedy entitled "The Brainstorm."

CHANGE TO-MORROW AT MATINEE Commencing at the matinee at 2 o'clock to-morrow comes a Brady-World film entitled "The Bondage of Fear," a powerful dramatic Study starring Ethel Clayton.
