THE EMPIRE.

big TRIANGLE FEATURE TO-NIGHT To-night at the Empire" an entire change of programme will be presented. At the head of the new bill is a five* reel Triangle drama entitled "The Bad Boy." Robert Harron takos the leading role, and is well nigh perfect in it. The first scenes show the incorrigible Jim at school, always in dire trouble and the' disgrace of the village, Harahjy treated by his father, he funs away, and then becomes the associate of a bad aud dangerous gang of criminals. The chang* in his nature, and the sudden rea!>'--j tion of where his deeds are leading him, [ come about with beautiful naturalness, and the play will be greeted by all pic-ture-goers as something quite out of the wiirian,-. Mildred Harris, rriangle's sia-teen-ycar-old star, is the most exquisite heroine, both in the early scenes where she is a school girl, artd in later years when, grown up, she still has faith th Jim, and eventually brings about his return to better things. The settings of the scenes are wonderful, particularly in the night robbery at the bank. The play is full of sudden turns snd surprises, and there are some terrible fights, notably the last struggle between Jim and the sole survivor of the gang. There are several good filiws in support, including the "War Graphic," "Whaling Industry in New Zealand," and a Hughie Mack comedy.
