BRAZIL.
A DEMAND ON GERMANY. Rio de Janeiro, July 18. The Government has demanded that the German shipping companies pay eight million dollars as dues on the interned vesesls. The newspapers state that unloss payment is made within twenty-four houw the ships will be seized.
