Cable Association, Received July 16, 10.50 p.m. Melbourne, July I#, Mr. Pearce expresses the anxiety felt by the medical services concerning tho news of a parasitic disease affecting the returned soldiers from Egypt. It is known as the Bilharzia disease, and is usually acquired through bathing in iffeeted water. The larvae of the worm penetrates the skin and infests the bladder and the adjacent organs. The authorities are taking the necessary precautions to prevent the acclimatisation of the disease.
