BRITISH AERIAL ATTACK. THE GOEBEN HIT. London, July 11. British airmen bombel the War Office at Constantinople and damaged the cruiser Goben. Wellington, July 12. The High 'Commissioner -cpe-vls under date London, July 11 (12.20 pm): —The Admiralty reports an aerial attack on Mondav on tile Turco-C.prman fleet at the Golden Horn. The Ooeben and other warships were hit. There were big explosions and fires. We also attacked the War Office. We had no casualties. London, July 11. The Admiralty reports that the eastern Mediterranean naval air service successfully attacked the Turco-German fleet lving off Constantinople. The airmen located the Goeben surrounded by warships and submarines, and attacked from a height of 800 feet, directly hitting the Goaben and other ships. Big explosions and several fires occurred on board. The airmen directly hit the War Office. The enemy was apparently completely surprised, as no anti-aircraft «uns "were utilised till after the bombs had been dropped. The airmen returned safely.
