ENTERTAINMENTS.

TO-NIGHT. ■ "The New Dandies." who are announced to appear in the Empire Theatre this evening, are presented by the management as Mr. Edward Branscombe's premier combination. The company is heralded as the embodiment of perfection in the particular class of entertainment which they present. Several costume comedy-concert companies have appeared at intervals, and then disappeared off the face of the theatrical horizon. But it is not so with "The Dandies." Each season witnesses their re-appearance with a new budget of musical comedy successes, and a fresh consignment of stage novelties. The artists to make their appearance are Miss Dorothy Manning, lyric soprano; Miss Linda Bradford, pleasantly remembered as the charming contralto of the Orange Company; Miss Ivy Davis, a sprightly and vivacious soubrette; Mr. John Wellby, basso; Mr. Andrew Pace, a favorite light comedian; and Messrs. Harry Graham and Courtney Ford, who are announced as two comedians with new goods. The musical <<< ector is Mr. Philip Hardman. The programmes presented by this smart combination are well varied, ranging from selections of grand opera to delightfully droll burlesques on current attractions. There will be a complete change of y gramme to-morrow and Saturday evening. The plan is at Collier's.
