PIERROTS' ART UNION.
RESULT OF DRAWING. The art union in connection with the Pierrots' £IOOO day was drawn last night at the post office, in tho presence of about fifty or sixty of the general public. It had been intended to draw it from a lorry in front of tho office. but owing to the boisterous nature of the weather tho committee, through the courtesy of the chief postmaster, were able fo carry out the drawing in the lobby of the post office. The members of the executive of the Pierrots supervised the drawing, Constable Fitzgibbons being ■present on behalf of the police department. 'Mrs. C. H. Burgess assisted with the drawing, the marbles being drawn by a little girl. The winning tickets and their fortunate possessors were as follow: — 477 Mrs. T. Petty, Morley Street. •255 A. J. Hagenson, Frankley Road. 427 Mrs. S. G. Smith, Molesworth St. Prize-winners may obtain orders for the delivery of their prizes on application to Mr. R. H. George, secretary.
