NORWEGIAN LOSSES. London, July 3. Norwegian shipping losses in June were 43 vessels, with a tonnage of 60,000 tons, and 26 lives were lost. ,■':.; SUNK BY GUNFIRE. ■>■■ . London, June 4. A German submarine sauk the Argentine steamer Toro by gunfire on June 22 in the Atlantic, outside tlxe war zone. The submarine commander examined the Toro's papers, and found she was carrying wool for iSwitzerland; nevertheless he persisted in sinking the. vesBel. The creiw were saved. A DESTROYER MINED. A. and N.Z. CaWe Assoc, and Reuter. Received July i 6. 12.30 a.m. London, July 5. Tire Admiralty reports that a (British destroyer of an old type was mined and sunk in the North Sea. There (were eighteen survivors.
