SIX O'CLOCK CLOSING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June '27. A big demonstration in support of the demand for the six o'clock closing of hotels was held in the Town Hall tonight. The following resolution was passed:—"That having heard the terms of the petition to ibe presented to Parliament asking for the restriction of the sale of intoxicating liquor during the war and after, this meeting heartily endorses the prayer of the petition and demands Parliament shall without delay pass an Act to give immediate effect to the prohibition of sale Of intoxicating liquor between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m." ___________
