PIERROTS' £IOOO DAY.
ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED. Complete arrangements have been made for the success of to-morrow's big effort. Liberal response has been made bv every one approached, and the Pierrats therefore have a big stock of goods of all kinds which will be disposed of. Housewives are given a reminder that they can ring up 167 for their meat or poultry orders this evening. Over 2500 parcels have been packed for sale, and these will be disposed of about the town and 'also in the suburbs between 8 and 3 a.m. by an army of Pierrots in motor cars. The performance opens to-night with the torch-light procession, and the concert, which will commence in Everybody's Theatre at 8 p.m., an excellent programme having been arranged. The Mayor is entertaining all the returned soldiers and soldiers on leave at the concert, and the men can obtain their reserved seat tickets from Mr. N. Howell. The Tourist and Expansion League fcas placed its office at the Pierrots' disposal, and here the secretary and treasurer may be found to-day. and to-mor-row. The committee wishes to thank Mr. E.
