A NEW GLORIA IN THE FIELD.
STA B<J>F GEORGE KLEINE SERIAL PRESENTS FLORENZ ZIEG-FELD WITH A 'DAUGHTER. On Monday, October 23, Billio Burke, star of George Kleine's motion picture novel, "Gloria's 'Romanca/' became a proud adn happy mother. The tiny edition of Billie Burke was ushered into the world at the Hotel Ansonia in Xew York City exactly at 3.15 o'clock in tlie afternoon. At that moment Florenze Ziegfeld was superintending the rehearsals of his now all-star show at a downtown theatre. It was some time before lie could be found and tlie news imparted to liim, but upon learning of his daughters' arrival he promptly dropped everything and hurried to the side qf Billie. And now for the veal news of the event. Several days before Baby Ziegfeld was born li'er mother told Ada Patterson, of the New York American staff, that, if the baby were a girl, there was every likelhood in the world that slie would be named "Gloria," after the heroine's role in "Gloria's Romance," the last part in which Billie Burke appeared. Billie Burke and Mr. Zielfeld were married quietly in Hoboken in April, 1914. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Enzelfeld, and so carefully were the arrangements for the ceremony made that no one outside the parents of the principals knew of it for several days. Miss Burke appeared in "Jerry," the play in which she was starring at the time, on the evening of her marriage, and it was ome days later before the news oi the wedding leaked out,
