PIERROTS' £IOOO DAY.
*■ There were 35 Pierrots present at last night's meeting, when Mr. H. Brookman presided. All arrangements for the great effort on Saturday were made, the keenest interest being displayed in the work. The committee in charge of the meat bazaar wish the public to thoroughly understand that all meat, poultry, etc., sold there on Saturday will be at current town prices, and the joints will b'e cut aa near the desired weight as possible. Donations of home-made bread, cakes, confectionery, etc., mill be gladly received by Pierrot J. R. Sill at the Mart on Saturday, at 0 a.m. Every effort will be made to serve tomers as speedily as possible, and all that is needed is the exceptionally liberal patronage of the public. New Plymouth and St. Mary's Scouts are requested by the District Commander to parade on Friday at 7 p.m., at the Red House corner, Devon Street, to take part in the grand parade from that point to Everybody's Picture Theatre, where the Pierrots' concert is to be held.
