FOOD CONTROL BILL PASSED. Washington, June 24. The House has passed the Food Control Bill, including a drastic amendment prohibiting the manufacture of intoxicants for the duration of the war, and authorising the President to commandeer the existing stocks of spirits. The voting was 306 to five.
