NORWAY.
FJND OF INFERNAL MACHINES. MORE GERMAN DIRTY WORK. Received June 25, 8 p.m. Christiania, June 24. The authorities discovered large depots of explosives and infernal machines, and believe they came from Germany. Somo of the explosives were disguised as coal briquettes. It is that these were to be placed aboard ships, and explain the mysterious losses of Norwegian vessels. Owing to the excitement caused by the discovery, the Government has issued a communique stating that great quantities of explosives have been seized and several foreigners arrested. Full details are promised when investigations are completed. The newspaper Tidenstegn states that three Finns and a German baron named von Hautenfels have .been arrested, and a thousand "kilograms of the most dangerous explosives seized. The press is convinced that the explosives were responsible for the loss of Inany ships, and demands the severest punishment. VAST GERMAN PLOTS. 'AGAINST NORWAY'S SECURITY. 'Received June 25, 8.30 p.m. Christiania, June 24. Special meetings of the Storthing have been hold in camera to discuss the discovery of a vast German plot against Norway's security. Many German agents have been arrested. NEED OF SUPPLIES FROM AMERICA. Copenhagen, June 24. The Norwegian Government is sending a delegation including Hansen the explorer, to negotiate with America for food and raw materials.
