WEDDING.
SHAW-WINFIELD. At St. Mary's Church, New Plymouth, .yesterday, Miss Kathleen Winfield, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Winfield, of Frankley Road, was married to Mr. Eric Shaw, son of Mr and Mrs Stanley Shaw, New Plymouth. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a cream gabardine costume and a smart crepe de chene blouse and hat en suite. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. F. G.' Harvie, vicar, and Mr. R. N. Renaud presided at the organ. Mr. Trevor Simpson attended the bridegroom as best man. The church' was prettily decorated by the girl friends of the b'ride. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of tho bride's parents, only immediate relatives being present. Among the numerous presents received was a cheque from the Inglewood staff of Mr. Newton King, of which the bridegroom is a member. Mr. and Mrs. Shaw left by motor car on their honeymoon, which will comprise a tour of the North Island. The bride's travelling costume was of navy-blue serge, with emerald green hat, and she wore grey squirrel furs (the gift of the bridegroom). '
