TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUS, The monthly committee meeting of the Taranaki Jockey Club was held at the secretary's' office, Devon Street, on Tuesday night. Present: Messrs L. A. Nolan (in the chair), Fraser, Phillips, Hookham, Blundell, Chancy .Alexander, L .1). Webster, Weston and Orbell. Apologies were received from Messrs. Newton lung and M'Lcod. The transfer from W. H. Thomson to J. Marretfc of a ch.f. by Boniform— Portland Lass (4th Taranaki Stakes), Was approved. The Hon: 0. Samuel and Mr. L. A. Noln.il were appointed the club's representatives flt the forthcoming meeting of the Racing Conference. In connection with the reduction of racing days, it was resolved that Thursday. December 27, the. second day of the Christmas meeting, be discontinued. The annual meeting of the club was fixed for Monday, duly 30, in the Soldiers' Club Rooms. Tf> was resolved to donate the sum of £IOO to the Pierrots in aid of the local patriotic funds. The Metropolitan Committee met at the conclusion of the above meeting, the same members being nreßjnt, with the addition of Messrs Newton King, Pitt. W. Young, and A. Good. Apoloies were received from Messrs. J. Gray, Tonks and M'Leod. The following amended dates were approved for the forthcoming season:— Taranaki Jockey Club: December 20 and February 0 and 7. ■Eginont Pacing Club: February 13 and 14 (failing these dates being available January 30 and 31) and May a Stratford Racing Club: January 1. Ommake Racing Club: St. Patrick's Day (March 18). * The list of fines, etc., from the Egmont Racing Club was approved. _ An application for a jockey's license was withdrawn,
