AN .INDIGNANT PROTEST. ■ - . Napier, June IS. .. Strong exception was taken, at a.meeting of the Teachers'. Institute, to the remarks made by a member of- the pan-. terbury Education Board, .and, tQ the ; resolution passed by the same' body In reference to the war bonus', granted to teachers and other civil servants last year, and tho following resolution was passed unanimously': That the Napier branch of the Teachers' Institute resents the reference by a jnember of the Canterbury Education Board to the bonus granted last year to teachers as "blood" money," and takes ,exeeption to the resolution passed referring to the same, considering that the said Board has no right to speak for the general body of teachers.
