A BRILLIANT TRIANGLE PROGRAMME. "THE FEMALE OF THE SPEfcIES." A denizen of fashionable art circles is the heroine of ''The Female of the Species," the snyirt Triangle play screening at the Empire to-night. Dorothy Dalton is siren in the leading role, and the whole cast is a strong one, including Howard Hickman and Enid Markey. The latter is particularly alluring as the young wife, and makes up charmingly. The story is boldly original, its main incident being the accident which deprives the husband of his memory, and so puts hint at the mercy of the beautiful schemer who is so passionately -desirous of winning him. The first scenes in Gloria's art salon are very beautiful, and are remarkable for the quietly' effective acting of Howard Hickman. Billie Burke appears in a new instalment of Gloria's Romance," entitled "The Shadow of Scandal."
