FOOTBALL
HIGH SCHOOL v. WAIMATE. Considerable interest is being taken in the match that is to be played on the Recreation Grounds on Saturday between the New Plymouth High School and the redoubtable Waimate team. Both teams have already played several matches this year, and can be relied on to give a good account of themselves. Those who witnessed the match last year between High School and Te Ante College are looking forward to again seeing local lads in action. CADET MATCHES POSTPONED. As previously intimated, it has beer decided to commence the Cadet competition on Thursday next. Matches set down for to-day will not be played.
