GERMANS ATTEMPT TO ESCAPE. Johannesburg, June 12. Forty 'Germans interned at Lorenzo Marques secured revolvers and overpowered the guard. Some fled to the bush and others seized a brig, but the shore battery prevented them putting to sea. These also fled to the bush. Portuguese cavalry captured the fugitives after two had been and eight wounded.
