'Paris, Juno 9. Survivors of the Jeanne Cordonnier, sunk on May 31, state witnessed the submarining of a great American steamer, the crew of which were mercilessly attacked in the boats by German gunfire, which destroyed them all. ARGENTINE LINER SUNK. United Service. Buenos Aires, June 9. A German submarine sunk the Argentine liner Oriana, and the public are tscited. 'A NORWEGIAN PROTEST. ' "'" Chrlstiania; June 10. Consternation has been caused in Norway by the submarining of fishing boats off Finmark. It is believed over twenty were «nnk and others are returning for safety. The Norwegian Government bus protested to Berlin, declarmg that it is incomprehensible what advantage will be gained, as the Finmark fishing frounds are outside the war zono denned by Germany.
