HUNTING.

The Xorlli Tarana!S pack met on Thursday, for the second time during the week, at Mr, Geo. Foroman's, Tikorangi. The. weather 'was perfect and there was a large gathering to witness the sport. Mr. Foreman had sparred the countrv well, and shortly after one o'clock the' hounds were in full cry with tho huntsmen hard at it to keep up with them. After a good run of some two or three miles a kill was registered. The hounds were then spelled for a while, after which a fresh start was made, another hare being soon found, hut escaped by running into forbidden country. The Hunt then adjourned to the homestead, where Mrs. Foreman had a bountiful afternoon tea in readiness, to which full justice was done by the many present. Mr. Ge.o Foreman was 'appointed master for the day, and carried out his duties thoroughly.
