DOMINION MINISTERS INTERVIEWED. .., Received June 6, 5.5 p.m. Wellington, Last Night. A Press Association, message of which the place of origin is not given, details an interview with Sir Joseph Ward, who said it certainly was of the first importance that Samoa should remain British territory. Britain could easily finance the war for another five years, but the accession of the United States increased that period. Sir Joseph Ward anticipates a considerable emigration to New Zealand as the result of demobilisation. A notable change in Britain was the disappearance of class bitterness and the reduction or drunkenness. , Mr. Massey, interviewed, said he believed conscription would pass in the next referendum in Australia. Regarding Empire consolidation, he believed it Would .he better effected upon sentimental lines than by a too rigid organisation, which would savor of Germanism.
