AN ENEMY ALIEN.
A CHRISTCHURCH CASE.
By Telegranh.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Charles William Rene Nicholls Broglie, a rather well-known man about town, was arrested last night as an enemy alien. Broglie left to-night in the charge of two detectives, for Wellington, where he will be handed over to the military authorities, it is assumed will be interned. He is a young man—between 25 and '3O. Additional interest is imparted to his case owing to the fact that he is married to a member of a well-known Wairarapa, family. His wife was with him here, and Bhe is understood to have gone to Wellington to-night.
