RIFLE SHOOTING.
The first trophy competition will take place at the Rewa Rewa riile range on Thursday and Saturday next; ranges 300 and 500 yards, 7 shots, and I'optional sighter at each range. The following are the handicaps: 'Riflemen Oliver, Bruce, Humphries,' Short, Moore, and Coppcn, scratch; Rifleman Blanchett, 2 points: President Hill, Riflemen Keating and Marett, 3 points; IRitieuian Ramson;"s points; Riflemen Lysons, Jones and Jarvis, 8 points; Rifleman G. Briierf and H. Hill, 10 points; remainder of club members, 12 points. The tie between Riflemen Ramson iind Keating was not fired off last Saturday owing to the bad weather.
