RAILWAYMEN AND THE BALLOT. By Telegraph—Press Association. TaumarumU, May 86. The Ohakune Railway Association passed a resolution viewing with alarm the interference of the Railway Department in the ballot for military service, and requesting the Government to assert itself and have the Defence Act maintained, and asking what the Department intends doing to release men for service.
