EVERYBODY'S.
LAST NIGHT OF "AMBITION." In "Ambition" a feature drama shown for the first time at Everybody's last night, the internationally famous dramatic artist, : Madam Bertha Kaiich, has a vehicle which at least equals her first •moving picture venture in a William Fox production, "Slander." For "Ambition" is a photodrama of such vital and purely American theme that the great Kaiich, with all her European culture but sympathy with the new world of her adoption, fits her part perfectly as the wife, unwillingly scheming, of an ambitious politician. Her good and bad nftture .wavers between the triangle of wifely and motherly love, illicit affecand that great danger in all life, ambition. The film contains an enthralling plot, telling a story of love and political intrigue and it is beautifully mounted and produced. The supporting programme, whicii, with the star featuro will be shown for the last time to-night, is an exceptionally interesting selection, including a splendid picture of "Whale Hunting" off the coast of British Columbia, with many close views of the big whales and interesting scenes on the dock pf a modern whaling steamer. There is also a clever vaudeville act, a picture of the Boy Scouts farm and a iconic film showing winter scenes in Gallcia. MATINEE TO-MORROW. /A complete change of programme will be screened at the matinee to-morrow afternoon, the principle attraction being a Greater , .Vitagraph feature "Mrs. /Dane's Danger," with Lilian Walker in the chief role and the latest Charlie Chaplin Mutual Comedy "The Pawnbroker."
