Prince LvofT's statement to pressmen insisted upon it being Russia's duty to observe the alliances with the western democracies. London, May 20. A Russian official message states: Our artillery repulsed an attempted attack eastward of Kalncuin, and dispersed an attack, eastward of Koverka, in the direction of the Bystritza.
