FOR THE FRONT. GENERAL PERSHING'S FORCE. Washington, May 20. General Pershing's command consists of 25,000 men, exclusively regulars and probably including those who have seen service in Mexico and also 2500 marines who were recently on ac.tive service in Havti and Cuba. New York, May 20. The newspapers generally approve the dispatch of the Expeditionary Force to France. Colonel Doyen commands the marine section. SECOND EXPEDITION FOR FRANCE. i ~ Washington, May 20. The War Department is arranging for the dispatch of a second, probably a large, expeditionary force to France, in the near future. APPROPRIATION BILLS. ' Washington, May 20. The Senate passed .the Army and Navy Appropriation Bills for 3342 million dollars, including 750 million for taking over shipbuilding plants and ships in course of construction. LIBERTY LOAN CAMPAIGN. New York, May 20. The great campaign to sell Liberty Loan bonds commences on Monday. Five hundred expert bonds salesmen will scour the city. The most important financiers are co-operating. Loan literature will be dropped from aeroplanecs.
